The UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada hosts week five of the 2020 season of Dana White’s Contender Series taking place on ESPN+.
This week ten more competitors do battle in hopes of impressing Dana White enough to earn a UFC contract. The main event has Armenian, Melsik Bagdasaryan , who has four knockout wins in a row, against Dennis “The Great” Buzukja from Staten Island, who has half his win by knockout. In the co-main event LFA flyweight champion, Jimmy “The Brick” Flick squares off with Nate “The Savage” Smith, who has finishes in four of his six wins.
This week Dana White awarded contracts to William Knight, Ronnie Lawrence, & Jimmy Flick. Tucker Lutz, Nate Smith, & Melsik Baghdasaryan have all been asked to come back to the Contender Series in November.
