2020 Contender Series, Episode 7 Easy Read Results

The UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada hosts week seven of the 2020 season of Dana White’s Contender Series taking place on ESPN+. This week ten more competitors do battle on ESPN+, in hopes of impressing Dana White enough to earn a UFC contract.

Back for his third appearance on the Contender Series, Jordan Williams who has finishes in seven of his eight wins, faces Gregory Rodrigues, whose on a six-fight win streak. Unbeaten Muhammadjon Naimov battles Collin Anglin, who is on a six-fight win streak in the nights co-main event. Korey Kuppe comes in with wins in four of his last five fights to facing Michael Lombardo who’s won six of six last seven fights. Olympic Boxer, Danyelle Wolf makes her MMA debut against unbeaten Taneisha Tennant, Starting off the card Kyle Driscoll whose ona six-fight win streak squares off with Dinis Paiva winner of sic of his last seven fights.

  • Middleweight Bout: Jordan Williams (9-3) def. Gregory Rodrigues (7-3) by KO (punches) 2:19 R1 
  • Featherweight Bout: Collin Anglin (8-1) def. Muhammadjon Naimov (5-1) by (29-28, 29-27 x2) unanimous decision  
  • Welterweight Bout: Michael Lombardo (11-2) def. Korey Kuppe (8-4) by (29-28 x3) unanimous decision 
  • Featherweight Bout: Danyelle Wolf (1-0) def. Taneisha Tennant (3-1) by (29-28) unanimous decision
  • Featherweight Bout: Kyle Driscoll (12-3) def. Dinis Paiva (13-8) by (29-28 x3) unanimous decision

This week Dana awarded contracts to Danyelle Wolf, Collin Anglin, & Jordan Williams.
