The PAL in Kansa City, Kansas hosts Invicta FC 42. The five-fight card is headlined by a battle for the vacant Invicta Atomweight title.
The 105 lb. championship is up for grabs as officer Ashley “Smashley” Cummins squares off against Alesha “Half Pint” Zappitella. Cummins is a gritty grinder who has three wins inside the Invicta FC caged by decision, while Zappitella in the same light has went the distance in all four of her Invicta victories. In the co-main event Raquel Canuto formerly Paaluhi, returns to MMA after over three years away to face Lisa “Battle Angel” Verzosa. In the feature fight position, we have an all Brazilian battle as former Atomweight champion Herica Tiburcio faces, Jessica Delboni who beat Lindsey VanZandt by split decision at Invicta FC 36. Victoria “fury” Leonardo, who has four of her six wins by submission faces Liz “The Titan” Tracy who has three of her five wins by decision. Kicking off the card will be Bellator vet Jennifer “Dugwen” Chieng against Helen Peralta, who’s won two of three in Invicta; and has Bare Knuckle experience.
