Inside the Matrix, no its not the next installment of the Keanu Reeves Sifi thriller. Its the huge card One Championship has on tap to close out October.
On October 30 the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand will see four MMA championship contests.
The main event has unbeaten, “The Dutch Knight” Reinier de Ridder challenging “The Burmese Python” Aung La Nsang for the One light-heavy championship. Ridder is 3-0 inside the One cage including a first round submission of Rong Fan & a second round TKO of Gilberto Galvao. Nsang has won seven in a row, the last six by knockout.
Unbeaten Iuri Lapicus is set to challenge Christian Lee for the One lightweight championship. Lapicus is 2-0 in One, both win have come by submission. Lee is on a four fight win streak, but has t fought since winning the One Grand Prix a year ago.
On the strength of three straight knockout wins Thanh Le has earned a shot Martin Nugyen the One featherweight champion, who has defend the belt three times.
And Tiffany Teo who’s won seven of her last eight will challenge Jing Nan Xiong for the Women’s One Strawweight Title. A belt Xiong has defended three times.
