The second consecutive UFC Fight Night main event has been changed by a positive COVID-19 test.
Curtis Blaydes tested positive cancelling his fight with Derrick Lewis. Elevating Anthony Smith vs. Devin Clark to the headliner in a days notice. Now Kevin Holland has tested positive eliminating him from a scheduled headliner against Jack Hermansson.
“The Joker” the number four ranked contender in the middleweight division will now face number 13 ranked Marvin “The Italian Dream” Vettori. Vettori had been scheduled to face Ronalde “Jacare” Souza at UFC 256. Souza will remain on the December 12th par per view card, taking on Kevin Holland.
Hermansson has won five of his last six fights, including three first round submissions. Vettori is on a three-fight win streak, in June submitting Karl Roberson.
