Fremd vs. Oliveira Tops LFA 98

Legacy Fighting Alliance has announced their second event of 2021 will take place in the Sunflower State with a middleweight headliner.

In the nights main event Pennsylvania’s Joshua Fremd faces Sao Paulo, Brazil’s Bruno Oliveira. Fremd is on a four-fight win streak that includes first round knockout wins in his two LFA Appearances. Stopping Lamar Gosey in 86 second at LFA 89 & finishing Antonio Jones in 198 seconds. Oliveira has won three of his last four fights. The 36-year-olds last win came in 53 seconds at Titan FC 55 stopping Jared Gooden.

In the co-main event Bellator & Contender Series vet JJ Okanovich takes on Lucas Clay, who beat Mike Breeden by split decision at LFA 42. In the nights featured fight Combate vet, unbeaten Richard Palencia, who has two wins in the LFA faces Jeimeson Saudino who has fought for Bellator, Titan FC, & RFA. Unbeaten Kyle Frost meets Austin Clem, both have three of their four wins by submission. And at 205 lbs. Joshua DaSilveira clashes with Matt Paul, both have 100% finishing rates.

LFA 98 is scheduled for January 30th at the Hartman Arena in Park City, Kansas, and streaming on UFC Fight Pass.
