Albuquerque’s Jason Sanchez (15-2, 8 KO’s) will be back under the bright lights of ESPN as part of the Joe Smith Jr. vs. Maxim Vlasov undercard.
Sanchez Brothers Boxings Jason Sanchez will square off with Glendale, California’s Adam Lopez (14-2, 6 KO’s) on February 13th.
Jason Sanchez is a 26-year-old with knockouts in his last two wins. The fighter nicknamed “El Alacrancito” fought in the Top Rank MGM bubble back in June going the distance with Christopher Diaz. Lopez is a 24-year-old coming off a June decision win over Luis Coria.
In 2018 Sanchez picked up his biggest win beating Jean Carlos Rivera by unanimous decision to win a WBO title. In May of 2019 Rivera fought and beat Lopez by TKO. Sanchez & Lopez also share a common opponent in Oscar Valdez who stopped Lopez & beat Sanchez by decision.
