A quick turn around for Legacy Fighting Alliance as a week after LFA 101 we have LFA 102.
Currently occupying the Grand Casino Hotel & Resort in Shawnee, Oklahoma for a three-event stint. LFA 102 is event number two. The main event is a meeting between featherweight prospects Bruno “The Tiger” Souza & Elijah “Baby” Johns.
Souza is a Karate black belt who calls former UFC champion Lyoto Machida his sensei. The 24-year-old lost his pro debut and has now won eight in a row. The last three wins have come in the LFA including knocking out Guilherme Santos at LFA 95.
Johns a member of Fortis MMA has been around LFA since the beginning competing on the amateur portion of the very first event. Johns is on a five-fight win streak that includes knocking out Michael Martinez at LFA 62, knocking out Aaron Webb at LFA 73, & knocking out Zac Kelley at LFA 83.
In the co-main event Contender Series vets Gregory “Robocop” Rodrigues & Al “Sweetness” Matavao meet in a LFA middleweight tournament semifinal. The winner will face Josh Fremd for the vacant LFA middleweight title.
