The UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada hosts UFC 259. The 15-fight card is a championship triple header.
The main event will see Israel Adesanya challenging Jan Blachowicz for the UFC light-heavyweight title. Adesanya the current middleweight champion looks to become the fifth simultaneous multiple division champion. Blachowicz is on a four-fight win streak heading into his first title defense.
The co-main event has women’s bantamweight & featherweight champion Amanda Nunes defending her featherweight title against Australia’s Megan Anderson. Nunes has won eleven in a row including eight title fights. Anderson a former Invicta champion has all of her UFC wins by first round finish.
The first title fight of the card will see Aljamain Sterling challenging Petr Yan for the bantamweight title. Sterling comes in on a five-fight win streak and has eight wins by submission. Yan ran his win streak to 10 when he stopped Jose Aldo at UFC 251 to capture the 135 lbs. belt.
