The Fit NHB Martial Arts Complex in Albuquerque hosts Fightworld MMA 19. The 10-fight amateur card features a mix a competitors with some experience and just getting their feet wet.

Opening bout of the night saw frantic first round. Coming out in the second round Pridencio Hurbina was breathing heavily. Estevan Cereceres put Hurbina on the unleashing combinations. Hurbina survived to find his takedown while bleeding advanced to mount, only to be swept, and spend the rest of the round on his back. Hurbina didn’t answer the bell for the third round.
Gabriel Montoya fired off over hands and hooks to the body putting Gabriel Waters on his back foot. In the final twenty seconds of the fight Waters fired off a combination that had Montoya staggered as the final bell sounded. Gabriel Montoya picked up the decision win.
Raul Varela Aromi made his game plan clear immediately putting Jose Bustillos on the mat and serving up the ground and pound. Bustillos did manage to get his legs up for a triangle choke. Aromi escaped and more thunderous strikes from inside the guard end the fight.
The kicks we’re flying early and often between Sam Walker and Ryan Wilkerson. As Walker started to gain Momentum the tide quickly shifted after a left body kick. Walker looking as if he’s about to lose his lunch in the cage. Wilkerson continued to assault the body. A deep breath and Walker finds new life grabbing Wilkerson by the back of the head. With the Thia plum locked in Walker batters Wilkerson with every strike you could think of forcing the ref to waive it off.
Angel Perez-Pena against Angel Reyes came down to cardio. Reyes came out looking for a flashy finish. The Perez-Pena answered with the takedown and it worked very well for the first round. In the second Perez-Pena began to slow. Reyes stuffed a takedown, spun taking the back and elbowing his way to the finish.
Chris Roybal put Julio Zapata on the mat, held him down by the throat and unloaded rights to the finish.
Tyrel Wisdom put Richard Jennings on the mat threatening submissions at every turn. Jennings mounted a comeback in the third and Wisdom once again was able to rely on his wrestling and take back control.
David Hudson, decide he wanted Francisco Dominguez to the mat. Once there it was Hudson fending off submission. Escaping a triangle and eventuality tapping to a armbar.
The co-main event saw the overhands flying. AFtre two minutes of big exchanges, Chris Collins was first to bust out leg kicks. Collins was also first to go to the takedown and had to escape from James Romero’s guillotine. The third round saw Romero score a takedown into a Chris Collins fighting ending guillotine.
Chase Emener planned to put Ty Miller on the ground in the main event. Miller had his own ideas defending and sticking knees in Emener’s chest. Miller Broke the clinch forcing Emener to cover up from the swarm of elbows and punches that would close the show.
