Jodie Esquibel gains New Opponent for Invicta FC 44

After a late change the nine-fight card for Invicta FC 44 is finalized.

On short notice Liz Tracy will be jumping in to replace Kelly D’Angelo in facing UFC vet Jodie Esquibel on the pay per view main card portion of the event. Oregon’s Tracy is a BJJ black who collected armbar wins at SUG 21 & SUG 22. Albuquerque’s Esquibel owns a boxing championship, competed on season 23 of TUF and was nominated for an ESPY this past year for her incredible volunteer work.

Invicta FC 44 takes place Friday at Memorial Hall in Kansas City. The card is topped by a pair of championship fights. The main event will see Emily Ducote vs. Danielle Taylor for the vacant strawweight title. The co-main event has Lisa Verozsa vs. Taneisha Tennant for the vacant bantamweight title. Prelims are available on AXS TV and the Invicta YouTube channel at 6 p.m. ET. The ppv main card comes at 19.99 on Fite TV in the United States.
