Heavyweights & Featherweights in Action During Week 2 of the PFL Regular Season

The PFL’s returning Heavyweight champion Bruno Cappelozza will start his second march towards a championship by headlining week two of the 2022 regular season against Stuart Austin.

Brazil’s Cappelozza won three of his four fights last year by knockout on route to his first world title. England’s Stuart Austin is a judoka who earned his slot in the PFL after a decision win over Satoshi Ishii.  Former WSOF champion and two-time PFL champion Lance “The Party” Palmer will square off with last years runner up Chris “The Long Island Kid” Wade.

After having sat out last season 2019 heavyweight champion Ali Isaev returns to the smart cage to take on Brazilian UFC vet Klidson Abreu. Renan Ferreira closed out last year with wins over Carl Seumanutafa & Stuart Austin. The 6’8” Brazilian will start this season against former CFFC champion, knockout artist Jamelle Jones.  Former Brave champion Bubba Jenkins will battle South Korea’s Sung Bin Jo.

The 2nd PFL regular season event is set for April 28th Esports Stadium in Arlington Texas.

The 2022 PFL 2 lineup includes:

  • Heavyweight: Bruno Cappelozza (14-5) vs. Stuart Austin (15-7) 
  • Featherweight: Brendan Loughnane (21-4) vs. Ryoji Kudo (10-2-1)
  • Heavyweight: Ante Delija (19-5) vs. Matheus Scheffel (15-7) 
  • Heavyweight: Renan Ferreira (8-2) vs. Jamelle Jones (12-7) 
  • Featherweight: Lance Palmer (22-5) vs. Chris Wade (20-7) 
  • Featherweight: Bubba Jenkins (16-5) vs. Jo Sungbin (9-2) 
  • Heavyweight: Denis Goltsov (27-7) vs. Sam Kei (8-5)
  • Heavyweight: Ali Isaev (9-0) vs. Klidson Abreu (15-5)
  • Featherweight: Sheymon Moraes (13-5) vs. Boston Salmon (6-3) 
  • Featherweight: Alejandro Flores (20-3) vs. Saba Bolaghi (14-2-1)
