Mousasi-Eblen Title Fight Headlines Bellator 282
Gegard Mousasi will look for his third consecutive defense of the Bellator Middleweight title when he squares off with unbeaten number one contender Johnny Eblen in the main event of Bellator 282.
Bellator 282 takes place at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville Connecticut.
This second reign as Middleweight champion has seen Mousasi stop John Salter by 3rd round TKO & “The Dreamcatcher” needed only 85 seconds to turn back the challenge of Austin Vanderford. Eblen started to be recognized as a legitimate title threat after knockout of Daniel Madrid & Collin Huckbody. At Bellator 276 Eblen took number contender status defeating John Salter by unanimous decision.
The card will also see the final two Bellator Bantamweight Grand Prix’s as Magomed Magomedov faces the winner of Enrique Barzola vs. Josh Hill & Lenadro Higo battles the winner of Jornel Lugo vs. Danny Sabatello.
