UFC 275 Results, Prochazka captures Title with late Submission
The Ultimate Fighting Championship is in Singapore for UFC 275, a championship double header taking place from inside the Singapore Indoor Arena.
In the main event will see breakthrough rising start Jiri Prochazka challenging Glover Teixeira for the UFC Light-Heavyweight title. Prochazka is on a 12-fight win streak. The last two have come in the octagon defeating top contenders Volkan Oezdemir & Dominick Reyes by knockouts. Teixeira is on a 6-fight win streak with five finishes, four submissions including when he captured the title this past October.
In the co-main event Valentina Shevchenko looks for her seventh consecutive title defense when she put the UFC Women’s Flyweight title on the line against Taila Santos. Brazil’s Santos has 13 finishes and is on a four-fight win streak.
The feature fight will see a number one contender determined in the Women’s Strawweight division as former champions Joanna Jedrzejczyk & Zhang Weili meet for the second time.
