The commerce Casino in Commerce California hosts LFA 137. The 14-fight card is headlined by a Featherweight showdown between Chase Gibson & Hyder Amil.
Gibson has rebounded from a disappointing night on Dana White’s Contender Series with a pair of wins in the LFA. Gibson submitted Thai Clark with a D’Arce choke in the feature fight of LFA 94. Five-months later Gibson won a unanimous decision over title challenger Javier Garcia. The next logical step has Gibson here in his first LFA main event. Amil won his pro debut by second round knockout. Following three wins in a row under the Bellator banner “The Hurricane” signed with the LFA. At LFA 117 Amil stopped Robson Junior by second round TKO. Amil comes in off a split decision over Deveante Sewell in the co-main event of LFA 129.
