UFC Vegas 58 Results, Fiziev stops RDA in the 5th
The UFC Apex in Las Vegas Nevada hosts UFC Vegas 58. The 12-fight card is headlined by a top ten Lightweight clash. Former champion number seven ranked Rafael Dos Anjos from Brazil against number ten ranked Rafael Fiziev from Kyrgyzstan.
After three years of chasing championship glory at welterweight “RDA” returned to the division he once ruled over. The results have yield Dos Anjos decision wins over Paul Felder & Renato Moicano. The BJJ black belt has went back to his grappling roots to win both fights. The former champion will headline a UFC event for the 10th time while his counterpart will see the marquee for the first time. Fiziev is a world-class striker with pro Muay Thai experience whose UFC ran got off to a rough start. Since losing his UFC debut by knockout, the Tiger Muay Thai representative has gone on a tear winning five-fights in a row. Two of the wins have come by knockout. It was a left hook that took care Renato Moicano & a wheel kick did in Brad Riddell.
Coming off successful promotional debuts talented Middleweight prospect Caio Borralho &Armen Petrosyan will square off in the co-main event.
*The card has unfortunately suffered a late scratch on fight day as a stomach virus has forced Nina Nunes to withdraw from her scheduled meeting with Cynthia Calvillo.
