The Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City for the first event of the 2022 PFL Playoffs. The nights main card features semifinal action in the Lightweight & Light-Heavyweight divisions.
The main event is a rematch from June where Anthony Pettis submitted from injury while in a Stevie Ray body triangle. Injury has forced last year Light-Heavyweight champion Antonio Carlos Jr. out of the playoffs. Replacement, unbeaten former LFA champion Josh Silveira will now face UFC vet, number two seeded Omari Akhmedov. In the other Lightweight semifinal Canadian UFC vet Olivier Aubin-Mercier battle Paravian Alex Martinez. And number one seeded Light-Heavyweight, Australian Rob Wilkinson faces Brazilian finisher Delan Monte.
