Live MMA action returns to the Duke City this Saturday. The Fit NHB Martial Arts complex in Albuquerque’s North Valley will host Fightworld MMA 25. The event will feature 13 amateur MMA bouts.
The main event will see decorated wrestler Mark Hussey against FightWorld amateur Light-Heavyweight champion Bobby Griego, who’s dropping to Middleweight. Back in 2020 the two made successful amateur debut at Southwest MMA Series 30. This past February Griego captured the FightWorld MMA amateur Light-Heavyweight title with a first round TKO of Christopher Collins who couldn’t get off the mat after the first round. Hussey will be returning to the cage after a lengthy recovery from a Lisfranc injury.
The rest of the card is comprised of the top amateur talent the southwest has to offer with competitors representing Geesis MMA, Duke City MMA, Sandoval Fight Systems, Luttell MMA, Fit NHB, Briggs MMA, Baca Fight Sytems, Perez Fight Systems, JacksonWink, Winks Family Gym, & Zen Martial Arts.
