Bantamweight Title Fight Headlines LFA 144 in South Dakota

Legacy Fighting Alliance has announced the vacant Bantamweight championship will be up for grabs when the promotion returns to South Dakota in October.

October 14th will be LFA 144 at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls the promotions sixteenth visit. The main event will see Tajikistan’s Muin Gafurov squaring off with Brazil’s Diego Silva to become the eighth LFA Bantamweight champion. Gafurov is a two-time Sambo world champion who put the division on notice knocking out Herbeth de Sousa at LFA 134. Silva is a black belt in both Jiu-Jitsu & Luta Livre who’s coming off a decision win over UFC signee Askar Askar.

The co-main event will see a battle between unbeaten Heavyweights as TUF 30 alum Jordan Heiderman battles Daiqwon Buckley. Heiderman has four of his five professional win inside the LFA including two wins by submission. Buckley beat NBA vet Royce White by decision in his pro debut at LFA 120 and has picked up wins on the PFL Challenger Series & at Titan FC.

  • Middleweight Bout (185 lbs.): Jared Revel (11-3) vs. Renato Valente (8-5)
  • Flyweight Bout (125 lbs.): Christian Natividad (4-0) vs. Jordan Harris (2-0)
  • Heavyweight Bout (265 lbs.): Ron Coleman (2-0) vs. Chato Wiest (1-1)
  • Welterweight Bout (170 lbs.): Brady Minner (5-2) vs. Patrick Rivera (6-3)
  • Bantamweight Bout (135 lbs.): Adamu Isah (1-0) vs. Mateo Gonzalez (3-0)
