LFA 141 Results, Brown Kicks way to Win
The Dobson Arena in Vail Colorado hosts LFA 141. The six-fight card is headlined is by a meeting between two of the top welterweight prospects in the southwest.
The main event has Chris “Breezy the Future” Brown representing the JacksonWink MMA against unbeaten Harris “The Bosnian Silverback” Talundzic from Factory X. Brown is on a three-fight win streak in the LFA. His last two wins have come in spectacular fashion knocking out Glaucio Elizario with a slam & stopping Steve Jones with strikes on the round. Talundzic is 4-0 in the LFA with a pair of wins by rear naked choke.
Recap:
The night started with Ben Tynan slamming knees into Lance Lee’s body. The onslaught would lead to Tynan taking Lee’s back while stuck on his knees and hammering his way to the victory. Luis Gurule racked up a second consecutive first round knockout dropping Josiah Reyes with a knee to the chin, continuing to swarm with punches till the ref waived off the contest. On the strength of a big first round that included several solid knees and a head kick Kelsey Arnesen pull off the upset defeating Kathryn Paprocki by split decision. Unbeaten Bryce Meredith got over aggressive early getting caught by a punch but regrouped to put Nathan Fought on his back. The MMA Lab fighter would take the back securing a rear naked choke for his first professional win by submission win. In the main event Haris Talundzic could never get a beat on the unorthodox striking of Chris Brown. “Breezy” continually attacking with his lead leg mix targets and techniques, while nullifying the majority of Talundzic’s takedown attempts with knees and elbows. Tripling up his counterpart in strikes saw Chris Brown win a unanimous decision. In his in cage post fight interview Brown requested the call from the UFC.
