The show that’s been providing Albuquerque with its Combat Sports talk on the radio is having a special 100th episode live celebration.
This Wednesday Mike Adams, Mika Frankl, & guest host Joe O’Neil from Team Talk will be live at DownShift Brewing Outpost 1706 in Old Town from 4-6 p.m. MT. The show will of course be on ESPN Radio Albuquerque 1017 The Team. A slew of special guests from the combat sports world including many involved in this weekends Knucklemania 3 will be in attendance and on the show.
Over the last two year Mike Adams 2.0 has featured the beloved segments “Sports Fact or Fiction” & “You Pick ‘Em”. we’ve also been privilege enough to talk with names from the combat sports world suck as UFC Featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski, UFC Bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling, and unbeaten Boxer Edgar Berlanga. The local fighters like Josh Torres, Jodie Esquibel, & Steve Garcia Jr. have also been on.
Mike’s vision for the show extends past the combat sports world into a full creative space. The show has also welcomed Actors like Antonio Sabato Jr. & Pasha Lynchnikoff. Reality stars such as Chef Marc Quinones from Hells Kitchen & RD from Million Dollar Wheels. Not to mention the incorporation of music to the show from Mike’s top 100 bands countdown to guest like DJ Montego, MC Frost the legendary “Kid Frost”, and Symphony X Drummer Jason Rullo.
