Big name Free Agents to debut at at BKFC 41

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship will be returning to the Mile High city in April with a pair of world renowned competitors making their promotional debuts.

During an appearance on the MMA hour BKFC president David Feldman announced the signings of former UFC champions Eddie Alvarez & Luke Rockhold.

The two fighters have held numerous titles in the MMA world. Rockhold (16-6, in mma) announced his retirement from MMA in August of 2022 after losing to Paulo Acosta at UFC 278. In January the former Strikeforce champion asked for and was granted his release from the UFC. Alvarez (30-8, in mma) also a former Bellator champion parted ways with One in September of 2022, 17-months after his fourth fight with the promotion. Reportedly both fighter have signed contracts that will allow them to box and compete in the MMA outside of BKFC.

BKFC 41 is set for April 28th at the 1st Bank Arena in Broomfield Colorado. The main event will see Luke Rockhold against Mike Perry at 185 lbs. In the co-main Eddie Alvarez squares off with former UFC title challenger Chad Mendes at 165 lbs. The event will air on Pay Per view with a price tag of  $49.99.

Perry has scored a pair of decision wins over under the BKFC banner beating Juliana Lane & Bellator Contender Michael Page. Mendes returned to combat sports after a three year hiatus at last February’s Knucklemania 2, knocking out Joshuah Alvarez.

The card will also see Christine Ferea defending the BKFC women’s Flyweight title against former Police Gazette champion Bec Rawlings. And a opponent search is currently on going for Heavyweight Ben Rothwell.
