Griego-Mendoza added to Route to Glory
The long extensive opponent search, Legacy Boxing Promotions had to engage in to find a foe for Matthew “Diamond Boy” Griego has lead to a familiar face.
Atrisco Boxing undefeated Matthew Griego will take on Modesto, California’s Gilbert Mendoza who fought Tony Valdez to back to back draws in 2015.
Griego stopped 60 plus fight vet Alejandro Moreno at Expo Explosion, giving “Diamond Boy” 7 knockouts in 8 victories. Mendoza has won back to back fights by TKO over Arturo Ballesteros and Alejandro Vazquez.
Route to Glory presented by Legacy Boxing Promotions is March 17 at the Legends Theater inside the Route 66 Casino.
