Last Minute Change of Opponents for Pitbull Torres
The term card is subject to change is a fitting and popular one in combat sports. Just over 24 hours before the Expo Explosion II weigh-in’s Legacy Boxing has promotions has announced, injury has forced a change to the main event.
Instead of Mohamed Rodriguez, Josh “Pitbull” Torres will now face Jesus Alvarez Rodriguez, Saturday night at the Manuel Lujan Complex at Expo New Mexico, in ABQ. Torres, the New Mexico State Welterweight champion, and former WBC title holder, has won his last 3 matches, all by technical knockout. Rodriguez fights out of Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico, and has won 75% of his fights as a pro, with a 72% of his win by knockout.
Additionally “Lookout” Levi Lucero has replaced Jimmy Archuleta and will be facing Jaime Aguilera, in the nights opening contest. Friday November 30 the weigh-in’s will be at the Ramada Plaza at 3 pm MST.
