UFC 176 adds Formiga vs. Fun Size
The UFC has announced that at UFC 176 number 6 ranked Flyweight Brazilian, Jussier Formiga da Silva (16-3) will take on former Bellator Bantamweight champion and number 9 ranked Zach “Fun Size” Makovsky (18-4).
Formiga a former worlds number 1 ranked Flyweight is coming off a submission of Scott Jorgensen, rebounding from a TKO to Joseph Benavidez.
Makovsy has won 4 fights in a row including UFC wins over Scott Jorgensen (UD) and Josh Sampo (UD).
UFC 176 on August 2 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California; is headlined by Chad Mendes getting his 2nd shot at Jose Aldo and the UFC Featherweight title.
