Nunes is a Brazilian and a member of American Top Team who heads into her title defense on a 4 fight win streak, with 5 of her last 6 wins coming in the first round. Rousey is a member of the Glendale Fight Club in California, who won the Strikeforce woman’s Bantamweight title in March of 2012.
