Five Fights Including Two Title Bouts Announced for UFC 304

The UFC has announced a star studded five fight main card for their return to England in July.

The main event will be the long-awaited Welterweight title fight between Leon Edwards & Belal Muhammad. The bout is a rematch from one cut short due to an eye poke in March of 2021. Since that fight Edwards has won and twice defended the UFC Welterweight Championship. Muhammad has put up five more tallies in the win column including a dominate win over Gilbert Burns at UFC 288.

The co-main event is also a rematch, and the interim UFC Heavyweight title will be on the line as Tom Aspinall faces Curtis Blaydes. In July 2022 their first meeting only lasted 15 seconds as Aspinall crumbled to the ground in agony after landing a low kick suffering a right knee injury. At UFC 295 Aspinall knocked out Sergei Pavlovich claiming the interim title in a bout that replaced Jones vs Miocic after Jones torn his pectoral. Blaydes is coming off halting the hype of surging Brazilian Jailton Almeida by hammering him into the ground.

Number 15 ranked Lightweight Bobby Green’s callout of English fan favorite Paddy Pimbeltt has been accepted. In a top ten ranked Flyweight matchup bitter rivals battle as number 6 Muhammad Mokaev takes on number 7 Mabel Kape. Plus, number 6 ranked Featherweight contender Arnold Allen squares off with number 9 Giga Chikadze.

It all goes down at UFC 304 July 27th at the Co-op Live in Manchester, England
