Mix Next Title Defense set for November

The PFL has announced the Bellator Championship Series will be returning to Paris in November with a Bantamweight title fight main event.

November 16th the Adidas Arena in France will see Brazil’s Leandro “Pitbull” Higo challenging American Patchy “No Love” Mix for the Bellator Bantamweight Championship.

Mix (20-1) signed with Bellator MMA in 2019 after a dominate run in King of the Cage. Over the last two years “No Love” has started to pile up the accolades. At Bellator 295 in April 2023 Mix knocked out Raufeon Stots with a jump knee to win the Bellator Bantamweight Grand Prix and the interim Bantamweight title. At Bellator 301 last November he achieved the label of undisputed champion unifying the title ls by submitting Sergio Pettis with a rear naked choke. Bellator’s last trip to Paris in May Mix came out a double winner defeating Magomed Magomedov for a second time for his first defense and gotten engaged in front of the Eiffel Tower.

Higo (23-6) a former RFA Bantamweight champion joined Bellator in 2017. “Pitbull” is the winner of five of his last six fights. At Bellator 298 he secured his thirteenth submission by guillotine choke of Nikita Mikhaliov. This past March in the depths of enemy territory in Belfast Higo beat James Gallagher by unanimous.

In welterweight action unbeaten Baysangur “Baki” Chamsoudinov (8-0) will take on Sweden’s Oliver Enkamp (11-4). “Baki” name has gained notoriety after controversial TKO win over Cedric Dumbe. Enkamp has also seven submission wins all by forms of choke.
