2024 PFL 8 Weigh-in Coverage, Playoff Fighters All Make Weight
It’s time for the second week of PLF playoff action. Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida the same venue that will host the fights also held the weigh-ins.
The Light-Heavyweights & Lightweights get their opportunities to clinch a spot in the one-million-dollar finals. In Light-Heavyweight bracket will see Impa Kasanganay vs. Josh Silveira in a rematch from the 2023 finals. Also 2022 Light-Heavyweight champion Rob Wilkinson faces Turkmenistan’s Dovlet Yagshimuradov.
The Lightweight bracket has Russia’s Gadzhi Rabadanov taking on Canada’s Michael Dufort. The other side of the bracket will see former Bellator champion Brent Primus, the number one seed against the always-exciting Clay Collard. Brian Stapleton will get the distinction as the only fight on the card to miss weight. A big miss getting on the scale 5.6 lbs. over the Lightweight limit (156). His fight with Biaggio Ali Walsh will proceed as a catchweight contest.
