
Former Two Division champion Returning at BKFC 66
The card for BKFC’s next big event in South Florida continues to expand with the announcement that Luis Palomino will be back in action.
The former pound for pound king, former Welterweight and Lightweight champion Luis “Baboon” Palomino will square off with Joshua “Famez” Alvarez. Palomino’s loss in February to Austin Trout ended a remarkable run of 9 consecutive wins. “Famez” has been in the Bare-Knuckle game since 2015 accumulating, half of his wins by first knockout.
In Bantamweight action fast riding Justin Ibarrola will faces Justin Street an 11-fight MMA vet. Ibarrola is 4-0 in BKFC coming off explosive knockout wins over landed Williams and Rick Caruso. Street made his promotional debut at BLFC 59, winning a unanimous decision over Anthony Sanchez.
Two of the Featherweight divisions beat are set to battle up weight class. Former title challenger, number three ranked Howard “HD” Davis faces number four ranked James Brown. In March Davis made his lightweight debut beating Sean Wilson. Brown is 3-0 in BKFC including a win of former Boxing World Champion Mike Alvarado.
In Crusierweight action number two ranked South African Jeremy “Pitbull” Smith will square off with Florida’s own Stephen “Tomahawk” Townsel. And number four ranked Heavyweight Leonardo Perdomo will battle Steven “The Panda” Banks.
