Bellator San Diego Quick Results

The Pechanga Arena in San Diego California is host to Bellator Championship Series where a ten-fight card is headlined by clash for the Bellator Lightweight world championship.

Lightweight champion Usman Nurmagomedov defends his title and puts his unbeaten record on the line when he faces Alexander Shabily. Herald as one of the sports top prospects when he signed with Bellator.  Nurmagomedov has lived up to the hype and possibly exceeded it. Four wins in a row including three straight finishes set up a shot at the title where he dominated Patricky Pitbull. A defense against Benson Henderson has cemented his title reign.  Shabily is also on quite the run. The 31-year-old has won his last nine fights. The last five wins have come in Bellator including knockouts of Brent Primus & Tofiq Musayev.

The co-main event is a Welterweight bout between knockout artists Lorenzo “The Moonsoon” Larkin & Levan Chokheli. Plus, former Welterweight champion Douglas “The Phenmon” Lima battles Canada’s Aaron Jeffery.
