CFC Clash of Titans Set for October 26th in El Paso
Hometown headlining opportunity in Welterweight showdown at CFC Clash of Titans.
October 26th at Speaking Rock Entertainment Center in El Paso, TX Combat Fighting Championships presents “Clash of Titans”.
In the main event El Paso’s own Travis Arellano battles Anthony “Ace” Martinez. Arellano made a statement in his pro debut stopping Korey Windham with strikes in the first round. He followed up the performance with a decision over well respected brawler Sterling Peak. Arellano was then set for a major fight with fellow prospect Ty Miller. That fight was derailed by injury. Making Arellano’s return to the cage 11-months later that mush more important. “Ace” turned pro in 2017 but walked away from the sport at the beginning of 2018. Almost six years later Martinez climbed back into the cage claiming a decision win over submission artist Nick Rhoads.
In the co-main event at Flyweight precision puncher Javier Cepeda is set to face the always aggressive Jacobo Martos. As a pro Cepeda has split time in boxing & MMA saying yes, every time the phone rings. Two fights into his pro career Martos has barley seen the second round just like in his amateur days.
The above-mentioned Sterling Peak will square off with power puncher Mikey Tovar. Plus, heavy handed Victor Santillan and scientific grappler Robert Skorheim are fighting for a welterweight title.
