Hobo Hanks Reign Makes it past September

Monsters can come in all shapes and sizes. There could be one around every corner but even Monsters can be ground by a Hurricane.

The complexion of the main event of September reign was flipped upside down when Babathunder was unable to make it to Albuquerque due to the current storm hitting the east coast.

Hobo Hank had arrived at the El Rey Theater for a fight and a fight is what he picked with Sinn Bohdi, who had a strange night  even for him.

Sinn Bohdi and Chuey Martinez had a physically brutal encounter that came to an abrupt ending. The match was back and forth as both men landed massive strikes. From back came Bryan Idol who handed, who’s know what to Martinez. The transaction lead to Martinez being incapacitated and Bohdi did the sensible thing and covered Martinez for the victory.

Hobo’s fight with Sinn saw the two exchange heavy punches and thunderous slams. A resolution to their conflict will have to come on another occasion as Bryan Idol & Chuey Martinez hit the ring and the champion before being ran off.

Route 66 champion, Mister Happy put a successful title defense in the books. It was no laughing matter as Zamaya tried to utilize the new champion belt for evil. Mister Happy was able to navigate around the danger past a back issue to hit the beak breaker  for the victory.

Joel Ruda the belt designer brought out the new Duke City Championship Wrestling title belts. The new prize has lead to a new level of focus for the entire tag division.

Sky High claimed their first victory in DCCW overcoming the duo of Freddy Cordova & Ricky the Renegade. Cordova begin pinned after a head sizer diver top by a splash from the top rope.

Clas & Reno debuted a new accessory to their outfit being accompanied by Zamaya for their match against Turbo Test. An addition that paid dividends immediately stealing a tag title belt on display at ringside and distracting the ref for it to come into play. Clas & Reno take the win and strengthen their for a title shot. The disappointment for Turbo Test a team that many can see greatest in calls for a change. Joel Ruda felt the same ending his talent search by extending a managment offer to Turbo Test. An offer that was accepted without open arms.

When you’re on top there’s nowhere to go besides down. After months of running through competition Thunder is now on a losing streak. Grated it took a distraction from Ronin and a handful of tights but Bryan Idol defeated a Thunder.

If Charlie 50 loved magic before getting in the ring with Valak Vile his feelings may have changed by the end of the match. The magic show was cut short by “50” attack. The Duke City illusionist crawled his way back. A near fall giving Valak the chance to glance at the clock. Twenty seconds to left in the clock when Vike shows his newest trick freezing Charlie and time. A blast from the wand and Vile drive for Valak. A conclusion that left Charlie 50 stewing in confetti.

Enrique Calderon continues to show big potential and went hold for hold with Manny Lemons for at least two rounds before tasting the juice and succumbing to a lemon drop.
