UFC Fight Night “Burns vs. Brady” Quick Results
The friendly confines of the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada hosts UFC Fight Night headlined by a showdown between top ten ranked Welterweights.
The UFC Vegas 97 main event will see number six ranked Gilbert Burns against number eight ranked Sean Brady. Burns a Jiu Jitsu world champion, who challenged for the world title in 2021. Philadelphia’s Brady is a hardnosed grappler has steadily been climbing the ranks since joining the promotion in 2019. Not applicable here but Brady is a TUF winner kill having beat Court McGee and his last two wins have come over Michael Chiesa & Kelvin Gastelum.
The co-main event is top ten Womens Flyweight matchup. Former Strawweight champion Jessica Andrade faces fellow country women Natalia Silva. The number six ranked Andrade has won her last two over Marina Rodriguez & Mackenzie Dern. Silva is on an 11-fight win streak. A 5-0 start to her UFC career has earned the number eight ranking.
The card will also see a bout between surging Featherweights as Steve “Mean Machine” Garcia Jr. on a four-fight win streak meets Canadian Kyle Nelson who’s won three in a row.
