In the main event “Suga” Sean O’Malley attempts to defend the UFC Bantamweight title for a second time when he’s challenged by the number one ranked contender Merab “The Machine” Dvalishvili. The champion is a budding superstar, lengthy, accurate striker who’s unbeaten in his last six-fights. O’Malley dethroned Dvalishvili’s teammate Aljamain Sterling of the UFC Bantamweight title by second round knockout at UFC 292. Dvalishvili is a cardio machine of constant activity always pressing the pass. The Georgian fighters last three wins have come over former champions Jose Aldo, Petr Yan, Henry Cejudo.
The co-main event is the trilogy fight between Alex Grasso & Valentina Shevchenko for the UFC Women’s Flyweight championship. Grasso pulled off one of the biggest comeback upsets in UFC history submitting Shevchenko in the 5th round of their fight at UFC 285. Lightning nearly struck twice at the first Noche UFC as Grasso took Shevchenko’s back in the 5th round to earn a draw.
The featured fight is a bout rescheduled from UFC 303 where number 3 ranked Featherweight contender Brain Ortega squares off against number 13 Diego Lopes.
