Agi Faulkner claims BKFC European Heavyweight Title Fight of the Year Contender

A new BKFC European Heavyweight champion has been crowned in a wild main event that produced six knockdowns.

The heavy hitters wasted no time as Dawid Oscar met the ground in the opening seconds and came back to knockdown Agi Faulkner with a right hand in the clinch seconds later. Smelling a finish, Oscar ran at Faulkner getting caught and sat down for the second time by a right cross. Oscar came back staggering Faulkner with a left hook and Oscar again came in with no defense retuning to the mat from a Faulkner right hand. A short right hook on the chin saw Oscar touch the canvas for a fourth time. Well after the first-round bell Faulkner landed a huge right hand crushing Oscar. The ref took a point for the incredibly late punch, but the damage was done. Faulkner jumped on Oscar a left hook right cross in the opening seconds of the second round. A fifth knockdown ending the fight and putting the BKFC European Heavyweight title around the waist of Agi Faulkner

The BKFC UK Light Heavyweight title is still vacant. Conor Cooke played an excellent matador to the charging bull that was Matty Hodgson. The distance management and ability to find his exit saw Cooke sweep the scorecards but missing weight has him leaving without the title.

The Knockout of the night came from Ben Bonner who flattened Lewis Keen with a right who in the fight round for his third knockout win in BKFC. Karl Thompson utilized fast combinations to overcome a horribly damaged left eye, overwhelming Dawid Chylinski, a right hook right uppercut sealing the deal.

Cut open between his eyes in the first round Anthony Holmes slept Chaz Wasserman in the second round with a left hook for the knockout win. Bartlomiej Krol rebounded from his first Bare Knuckle loss defeating Matthew Wiwczaryk by unanimous decision. Gary Fox put John Spencer down 4 times twice in each of the first two rounds for a second-round finish. Bardley Taylor ran is BKFC record to 3-0 earning a unanimous decision after dropping Brown five times.

The volume long distance punches of Luke Beamish earned the decision over Paul Cook. Matty Hill put Lee Browne on the canvas twice and overhand right in the second spelling the ends of the fight. The night got started with Danny Moir splitting open and swelling Kyle Redfearn’s left eye shut for a second round TKO win, his 8th in Bare Knuckle.
