
Championship Doubleheader on Tap for first BYB in New Mexico
The industry leader in Bare Knuckle Boxing, BYB Extreme will be making their New Mexico debut in January.
January 11th the Revel Entertainment Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico will play host to BYB 35.
In the main event two-division champion LT “Smash” Nelson defends his BYB Super Middleweight Police Gazette Diamond Belt against Birmingham, England’s James Connelly in a rematch. Their first bout at BYB 19 in 2023 ended in a draw and was named Police Gazette Fight of the Year. Nelson has four wins inside the trigon and none of the fights have gotten past the third round. Connelly has posted a decision win over Jimmy Sweeney & a knockout of Mark Tiffin since their first encounter at BYB 19.
Carlos Mistoca Alexandre has decided to move up in weight class in 2025 and will relinquish his BYB Welterweight championship. The vacant title will be up for grabs between the number one & two ranked BYB Welterweights, Argentina’s Walter Saravia and United States’ Javon Wolfman Wright. The winner takes possession of the now-vacant BYB Police Gazette Diamond Belt. Saravia is 2-0 in the promotion with both wins by knockout. In September Wright won a unanimous decision over Kylle McMillan.
