Record fast knockout caps off BKFC Fight Night Los Angeles.

It was scheduled to be the main event but it ended the night with fireworks.

During the event the originally scheduled co-main event was bumped up to the main event. Yet another change for Lavar Johnson who was scheduled to face Rashad Coulter before me was replaced by Bobby Bents and finally ended up being Anthony Garrett who took the fight this week.

Garrett had won his debut back in August i just 16 seconds and managed to top it.  Johnson charge right out the gate swinging wild and got slept by a counter right hook in only 12 seconds spoiling the debut of the former Valor BK Heavyweight champion. 12 seconds now sets the record for fastest Heavyweight knockout in BKFC history.

You can’t buy experience it’s something you have to go through. The experience of being in his 8th Bare Knuckle fight were on display from Bovar Khanakov who slice Ruben Warr under both eyes and around the right one with an educated jab. Khanakov stayed on his bike making the smaller BKFC ring look like more then enough space while wisely clinching to shut down Warr’s power punches when the “Bad Boy” was finally able to get in the pocket.

The evens Khanakov’s BKFC record to 2-2 & 5-3 in the sport while Warr is now 2-1.

Brandon Conley scored his second win in BKFC handing Keith Richardson his first loss in three fights. Conley overcame being cut in between his eyes in the first round to get the stoppage. Conley teed off on Richardson at the end of the second round with a flurry of straight punches cutting Richardson around his left eye leading to the doctor stoppage.

Chase Gormly was all offense in his BKFC debut as a short right hand early in the first knocked down Tyler Sijohn. Gormly got two more knockdowns off right hands in the first thirty seconds of the second. An uppercut for the third knockdown in the first minute of the second ends it.

In his third trip into the squared circle  Danasabe Mohammed finally found the win column. The right hand was key as Mohammed sat Rodney Thomas down in the first. Thomas was sent to 0-2 getting put down by a crisp right cross off the bell to start the second round.

Ryan Petersen defeated Dan Godoy in his BKFC debut. At the end of the second round Petersen landed a right hand that staggered Godoy. The punch also shut  Godoy’s left eye dropping him to 0-2 in the sport.

Three knockdowns led Michale Manno to a TKO win over Vincent Familari. Mann knocked down Familari in the first with an overhand right & short left hook. A Power jab collected a knockdown in the second. Between tue fourth and fifth rounds the physicians inspection necessitated stopping the bout. Manno evens his BKFC record at 2-2 and Familari drops to 1-1.

Mike Hansen & Dominick Carey knocked each down four times in a fight that didn’t make it out of the first round. Hansen jumped on Carey getting a quick knockdown. Carey stormed back scoring consecutive knockdowns. Hansen forced his way into the clinch a right hook followed by a right uppercut was enough to have Carey find an exit. Hansen improves to 2-0 while Carey dropped to 1-1.

Steven Sainsbury took an early lead before having to stage a comeback to defeat Paulo Gomes. Sainsbury kept Paulo on the outside and cut him open under the right eye in the first. Gomes came back to score a knockdown in the second from an overhand right. In the third a short right hand in the clinch stopped Gomes. A successful debut for Gomes and a disappointing one for Sainsburu.

A handful of knockdowns saw Cody Vidal get a TKO win over Kevin Sims. Vidal knocked sims down twice in the first and three more time in the third before the corner stopped the fight. Vidal gets his first win in his second fight handing Sims a debut loss.
