Underground King vs Lil Heathen headlines Knuckle Mania 5
KnuckleMania is the biggest Bare Knuckle Fighting card of the year and in 2025 it’s the very first event to happen in the company’s home base Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
January 25, the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia Pennsylvania will be host to KnuckleMania 5.
In the main event it’s a lightweight clash of epic proportions as “The Underground King” Eddie Alvarez faces off against Jeremy “Lil Heather” Stephens.
“I’m am so very honored to promote KnuckleMania V, our first BKFC event in my lifelong hometown, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,” said David Feldman, Founder and President. “I promised myself when I started this company that if we got to Philly we would promote our biggest and best event as a tribute to this great city and its legacy of the toughest teams in pro sports; The Eagles, The Phillies, The Flyers and The Sixers.”
“Philadelphia is a very proud city that has produced some of the baddest and toughest fighters and the battle between Eddie Alvarez and Jeremy Stephens will further cement the city’s fighting legacy.”
Alvarez is a former UFC and Bellator Lightweight champion as well as being a son of the City of Brotherly Love. So far in the squared circle Alvarez has been apart of two incredible fights being on the desired side of a split decision against Chase Mendes and battling Mike Perry for the inaugural King of Violence title.
During his time in MMA Alvarez scoured the world looking for the biggest challenge he could find. His legendary resume includes knockout wins over Justin Gaethje, Rafael dos Anjos, and Patricky Freire.
Stephens was a staple of the UFC from 2007 to 2021. His MMA resume has 29 wins including 18 victor by knockout. One of the hardest punches and most aggressive fights was a perfect fit for BKFC after he was done in the cage.
Just like in his UFC days where he earned many post honors, Stephens has been nonstop entertainment in his two BKFC fights. At BKFC 56 Stephens busted open title challenger Jimmie Rivera for a doctor stoppage in his debut. The follow up performance has Stephens get a performance bonus after demolishing Bobby Taylor at BKFC 65.
