New Champions crowned at DCCW Bosque Blizzard
We knew going in that Bosque Blizzard was going to be a storm but the history that was made couldn’t be predicted.
The night started off with the unfortunate news that Hobo Hank was ill and unable to defend the DCCW Championship. The scales of excitement were balanced as Direct of Athletic Competition Overseeing all Sports Entertainment Activities, Matthew Roblez & DCCW owner Fred Slow agreed on Tag Champions being crowned in the new main event.
Pretty City Express & Turbo Test pushed each other to the limits once again. Reno & Clas the Pretty City Express, under the orders of Roblez pulled out half the tricks in the book, but it wasn’t enough to throttle the tag team cohesion of Turbo Tony & Tommy Test. After a long road Turbo Test has made history becoming the first DCCW Tag Team Champions. A celebration the crowd could get behind to end the year.
With Hobo Hank out of commission Jaden Monroe was added to the Route 66 match making Mister Happy against Enrique Calderon a triple threat. Just as Monroe could feel the belt in his grasp it slipped away. Mister Happy disrupting the count to securing his own pin. Happy’s hold on the Route 66 title has discussions of multiple circuses coming to the legendary road in 2025.
There must have been a huge price on Manny Lemons head because the Bounty Hunter tried to choke all the juice and air out of the zest of life leading to a disqualification.
Zamaya has a big plan for her 2025 and has close out 2024 making many believe she can achieve whatever she wants. Just when it looked as like Natalia Markova had Zamaya where she wanted her. Jaden Monroe made his presence felt while the ref was knocked down. Markova ripped away a chain from Monroe who alerted the ref to the weapon. Zamaya plays up getting hit even though she wasn’t, leading to a disqualification victory for Zamaya. Earlier in the night Zamaya made her presence known starting down women’s Nightmare Factory champion Angelica Risk who kept her unbeaten streak in DCCW alive after a thrilling victory over Adrian Myscira.
The campaigning of Chuey Martinez has gotten through to at least one person. Jonny Manga has aligned with the MAGA Chuey vision for DCCW. Martinez’s new protégé immediately paid dividends whacking Thunder in the back with a crutch allowing Martinez to collect the victory.
Ricky Rebel is providing a sneaky and cunning nuisance to many. Stealing a Valak Vile’s wand against himself caused Vile to be disqualified. The magic man got the last laugh giving Ricky a seconds helping of magic wand.
In a true David versus Goliath match up. 4 Sale & Ronin were physically dominate until a miss communication eliminated Sale from the match. Ronin was halfway through a Samoan backdrop before a missile dropkick propelled him over. Both members of Sky High combining on the pin. After the match Sale confronted Ronin about his failure.
