BYB Rebooks Nelson vs Connelly 2
The rematch will happen. It was just delayed.
The BYB 35 main event fell apart last week when the signed contract for a six-round championship bout had to be changed to five rounds to comply with New Mexico Athletic Commission rules.
BYB Super Middleweight champion LT Nelson wasn’t on board with the change. He felt it undermined the integrity of the title. James Connelly was fine with a five round title fight. Just like Javon Wright and Walter Saravia who fought for the vacant BYB Police Gazette Diamond belt in the BYB 35.
Both LT Nelson & James Connelly were adamant about wanting a rescheduling as soon as possible. BYB officials have quickly sprung into action.
Nelson vs. Connelly 2 is now scheduled to headline BYB 38 on March 22 at the Hangar in Wolverhampton, UK.
The first fight was an all time classic that immersed went into the hall of fame. The animosity has grown from their recent controversy. What will the third chapter have en store for fight fans.
