Islam Makhachev knew he’d be defending his Lightweight title but between the press conference and weigh-ins from Thursday night to Friday morning the opponent changed. During his weight cut scheduled title challenger Arman Tsaruykyan suffered a back injury. Renato Moicano accepted the replacement spot leaving Beneil Daruish off the card.
In the co-main event Marab Dvalishvili looks to defend his Bantamweight title in a quick turnaround from when he won it, against mush undefeated prospect and sizeable betting favorite Umar Nurmagomedov. The feature fight slot is a battle between former Light Heavyweight champions and knockout artists Jiri Prochazka and Jamhal Hill.
