BKFC taking World Title Rematch to Italy
The former champion will get a shot at getting back the title he never lost in April.
International expansion continues for bare Knuckle Fighting Championship who’ll put on their first event in Italy April 26th.
Chris Camozzi will defend the BKFC Cruiserweight title for the first time in the main event against former two-division champion Lorenzo “The Juggernaut” Hunt. The fight is a rematch from the main event of BKFC 50. Back in September 2023 Hunt took a split decision win over Camozzi in a fight that Hunt won with movement and angles.
At the time Hunt was a two-division BKFC champion holding the Cruiserweight & Light Heavyweight titles. After the win Hunt campaigned for an opportunity to win a third title at Heavyweight. The compromise was reached that Hunt could have the Heavyweight title shot but he’d have to vacate his two titles. At Knucklemania IV the size and strength advantage of Mick Terrill’s proved to be more then Hunt could overcome.
This past October in front of his hometown fans in Denver Camozzi reached the promise land winning his first world title. Camozzi captured the vacant BKFC Cruiserweight title at BKFC 67 knocking out Sawyer Depee in the first round.
The rest of the card is yet to be announced but former Welterweight title challenger Rico Franco has been announced for the press conference.
