
Pague slices Through Angelcor & Two Record setting Knockouts at BKFC Fight Night Philly
Everyone wants a title shot. Dustin Pague made a very strong case his contention at the welterweight title.
Page look crisp, athletic, and dynamic sticking and moving against Andrew Angelcor. Pague opened a cut on Angelcor’s forehead with a stiff jab. A
left hook made the cut a massive gash leading to a doctor stoppage between the second and third rounds. Pague securing his fourth win in five fights and his third without need of the judges.
BKFC is known for wild knockouts and the record books were again added to.
Elijah Harris landed two rights hands immediately stunning Brandon Honsvick jab cross combination froze Honsvick up for a 7 second knockout. The fourth fastest ever.
One fight later Justin Walters ran at Dalvin Blair. Blair countered with a right hook putting Walters out in 4 seconds for the third fastest knockout ever.
Harris & Blair both with statement making debuts.
Johnny Garbarino is 2-0 after stopping Rayne Wells in 47 seconds with a serie a of left hooks.
Brandon Conley was the more active party in the co-main event with Cody Vidal landing his right hand with precision. But the left hand earned a point deduction after an eye poke leading to a majority draw.
AJ Craig earned a unanimous win over Travis Thompson. Craig set the tone for the fight in the first round knocking Thompson down with a stiff two punch combination. Craig would open Thompson over his left eye and remain on his bike for the next three rounds. A desperate comeback from Thompson in the fifth scored a knockdown. Craig bit down on his mouthpiece returning fire to the final bell to persevere his victory.
Maurice Horne displayed great resiliency getting up off the mat in the first round to comeback and stop Adam De Freitas in the second with a long right hook.
The other fight on the card to need the judges insight saw Lex Ludlow win a split decision over Cory McKenna.
Pat Carrol blast his way through Michael Furnier in 46 seconds. There was blood coming from Furnier’s left ear from the first right hand Carrol landed. A second right cross scored the first knockdown. Sensing a finish Caroll jumped on Furnier with more powerful right to put the finishing touches on his debut.
And the night got going with Anthony Pagan knocking down Colin Reeser three times in 52 seconds with different angled right hands. Pagan also making a successful professional fighting debut.
