Newark, New Jersey the Prudential Center hosts UFC 315 where both the men’s & women’s UFC Bantamweight Championships are on the line.
It’s a rematch in the main event as Merab Dvalishvili attempts to add a second title defense to his resume when he’s challenged by the man he took the title from, charismatic striker, Suga” Sean O’Malley. After taking the title from O’Malley in September, Dvalishvili turned around in short order to post his first successful defense over Umar Nurmagomedov in January.
In the co-main event two-time judo Olympic gold medalist Kayla Harrison challenges two-time champion Julianna “The Venezuelan Vixen” Pena for her UFC Women’s Bantamweight Championship. Pena, the TUF season 18 winner won her second UFC title at UFC 307 in a split decision. Since coming over to the UFC Harrison a former two-time PFL Lightweight champion has kept rolling racking up wins over Holly Holm & Ketlen Vieira.
