King and Queen of Violence Set to Reign at BKFC 82
BKFC Has Violence on Tap for October 4th.
The King of Violence title will be on the line at BKFC 82, as “Platinum” Mike Perry defends his crown against Jeremy “Lil Heathen” Stephens in the main event.
Perry parted ways with the UFC in 2021 and made his BKFC debut in 2022. Since ditching the gloves, Perry has truly come into his own — first by beating Julian Lane, then by pulling off what many called an upset over Michael “Venom” Page. He followed that up by literally knocking out Luke Rockhold’s teeth, and in 2023, breaking Eddie Alvarez’s face to earn the King of Violence title. Most recently, Perry stopped Thiago Alves in just one minute at Knuckle Mania 4 in April 2024.
Stephens, meanwhile, made a brutal impression in his bare-knuckle debut, busting open Jimmie Rivera en route to a doctor stoppage. “Lil Heathen” followed it up by taking Bobby Taylor’s spot in the top five with force. At Knuckle Mania 5, Stephens forced Eddie Alvarez’s corner to wave off the fight after three punishing rounds.
Also on the card, the Queen of Violence will be crowned when BKFC Women’s Flyweight Champion Christine “The Misfit” Ferea faces BKFC Women’s Featherweight Champion Jessica Borga.
Ferea has ruled since claiming the vacant title with a unanimous decision over Britain Hart at Knuckle Mania 2 in 2022. Since then, “The Misfit” has racked up five successful title defenses and remains the most dominant woman in BKFC. On the other side, Borga captured the inaugural women’s featherweight title this past April at BKFC 72, knocking out Hannah Rankin to stake her claim at the top.
October 4th BKFC 82 takes place at the Prudential Center in Newark New Jersey.
