UFC 321 Results
The Octagon has made its way around the world to Abu Dhabi, where UFC 321 takes place inside the Etihad Arena. The UFC Heavyweight Title is on the line, and a new Women’s Strawweight Champion will be crowned.
In the main event, England’s Tom Aspinall defends the UFC Heavyweight Title for the first time against France’s top contender, Ciryl Gane. Aspinall claimed the interim title with a first-round knockout and defended it in similar fashion, before being elevated to undisputed champion when Jon Jones vacated the belt earlier this year. Gane, a former interim champion himself, has won three of his last four fights, including two by knockout.
The co-main event is a rematch between two talented grapplers vying to lead the strawweight division now that Weili Zhang has moved up to pursue the UFC Women’s Flyweight Title. Number one ranked Virna Jandiroba faces fifth-ranked Mackenzie Dern, who won their first meeting by unanimous decision back in 2020.
Two other main card bouts could also determine future title contenders. At bantamweight, second-ranked dynamic Russian striker Umar Nurmagomedov takes on ninth-ranked American pressure fighter Mario Bautista, who rides an eight-fight win streak. And in the heavyweight division, former Bellator champion and number two ranked Russian striker Alexander Volkov meets number five ranked Brazilian grappler Jailton Almeida.
