BKB Announces Championship Doubleheader for Niagara Falls Debut

BKB is bringing two high stakes championship bouts to one of the most iconic backdrops in the world.

On April 17th, the Trigon lands at the Seneca Resort & Casino in Niagara Falls for BKB 54: Seneca Fight Night, headlined by a championship doubleheader with major pound-for-pound implications.

Nelson Defends Middleweight Crown

Two-division champion and BKB’s No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter, “Smash” LT Nelson, returns to defend his Middleweight title against aggressive British contender Mark Tiffin.

Tiffin has built his case with statement wins over Paul HilZ and by avenging his 2022 loss to Aaron McCallum. Known for his relentless pressure and durability, the Brit now gets his opportunity on the biggest stage.

Nelson, however, has been nearly untouchable. Unbeaten for the past three years, “Smash” has gone 11 fights across Bare Knuckle Boxing, Muay Thai, and Kickboxing during that stretch. Inside the Trigon, he’s riding a six-fight win streak, with five of those victories coming in championship settings.

His 2025 campaign saw him decisively close the chapter on rival James Connelly and avenge his lone bare-knuckle defeat to Sam Liera. The only blemish on an otherwise dominant year was a withdrawal from a scheduled November title defense against Barrie Jones — a fight he’s undoubtedly still eager to make up for.

Now, Nelson looks to reaffirm his spot atop the sport against a hungry and dangerous challenger.

Lightweight Title Rematch

The co-main event sees unfinished business at Lightweight.

Champion Jarod Grant defends his title against Jon Barnard in a rematch following their November bout that ended in a no contest.

Grant, a former BKFC titleholder, began his BKB run with three straight victories, capturing the Lightweight title with a decision win over Jorge Bargallo in May.

Barnard matched that undefeated climb — but did it in destructive fashion, never seeing a fourth round before reaching the championship level.

Their first meeting left more questions than answers. On April 17th, one man leaves Niagara Falls with clarity — and the Lightweight crown.
