King Kai Defends His Crown at BKFC 87

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship returns to its home away from home on March 20th with a stacked card headlined by a Featherweight World Title showdown.

The legendary Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino once again plays host to what promises to be an action-packed night of bare-knuckle violence.

At the top of the bill, the reigning ruler of the featherweight division, “King” Kai Stewart (7-0), puts his undefeated record and world championship on the line against Spanish breakout star Nico Gaffie (3-0).

Stewart has evolved into one of the sport’s premier champions. Once a wrestler with raw potential, he has transformed into a polished bare-knuckle tactician with sharp, accurate hands and poise under pressure. His reign has already included four successful title defenses, cementing his status as one of the faces of the promotion.

Gaffie, however, enters with serious momentum. After scoring a second-round knockout in his promotional debut, he took a major leap in competition by facing perennial contender Brennan Allen — and shocked many with a fourth-round knockout victory. His development has been rapid and undeniable. Gaffie’s most impressive performance came in his BKFC European title fight, where he delivered a devastating first-round knockout of Jelle Zeegers to capture gold and announce himself as a legitimate threat to Stewart’s throne.

The card doesn’t stop there.

In heavyweight action, the division’s undefeated and top-ranked contender Leonardo Perdomo puts his unblemished record on the line against UFC veteran Rashad Coulter in a clash that could shape the future title picture.

The featherweight division will also be on display as top-five ranked former title challenger Bryan Duran faces off with the fighting pride of Belen, New Mexico, Derek Perez in what promises to be a high-paced battle.

Plus, in a compelling rematch from his bare-knuckle debut, former middleweight title challenger Donald Sanchez moves back up to light heavyweight seeking revenge against South Africa’s Jeremy Smith.

BKFC 87 is shaping up to be another statement event — championship stakes, undefeated contenders, and redemption stories all colliding under the bright lights in Hollywood, Florida. March 20th can’t come soon enough.
