UFC 188 Results
June 13th the Ultimate Fighting Championships is in Mexico City, Mexico, for UFC 188 taking place at the Mexico City Arena. The main event will see Mexican-American Cain Velasquez & Brazilian Fabricio Werdum battling to unify the UFC World Heavyweight Title.
This is a long awaited fight that has been postponed once already as the bout was to headline UFC 180. Velasquez is the UFC Heavyweight champion but the championship has not been defended since October of 2013, because of injury. Werdum at UFC 180 won his 5th fight in a row with a 2nd rd TKO of Mar Hunt and in doing so earned the UFC interim Heavyweight Title.
